Mother Nature created some challenges for Northwest Division racers during the first NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Cecil County Dragway with just the 6-10 age group running to completion in Jr. Dragster competition. Olivia Torchia was the winner, besting Patrick Conway Jr. in the final.
The 11-17 age bracket got down to two cars before action stopped, and the final round was completed during the Maple Grove Raceway event. In that final, Zach Grignon bested Zack Gale t0 claim the Wally.
6-10 final: Olivia Torchia, far lane, bested Patrick Conway Jr., 12.051 (11.95 dial) to 11.985 (12.08).
11-17 final: Zach Grignon, near lane, defeated Zack Gale.
