Bodie Carlson is the 2024 Summit Racing JDRL Shootout champion after he bested an all-star field of Jr. Dragster racers during the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd Int’l Raceway.
In the final, Carlson, far lane, got off the starting line first by more than a tenth, and he parlayed the advantage into an 8.978 (8.95 dial) to 9.047 (9.04) holeshot win against Brenna Shannon.
